The Sonoma Valley Fire District and the City of Sonoma are seeking public input on the local responsibility area hazard severity zone map.

 The comment period is open through April 13th 2025.

1. Government code 51178 requires the state to identify moderate and high severity zones in addition to very high.

2. Previous LRA maps only contained very high.

3. These maps may include new areas that were not previously identified by the state fire marshal.
